Content and Creative Specialist (Part-Time)

Are you a strong writer with an eye for design and a practical approach to using artificial intelligence?
Can you keep a website fresh, turn ideas into engaging social content, and build workflows that make content production more efficient?

Patiro is looking for a part-time Content and Creative Specialist to manage and develop our content across our website, social media, press releases, and external profiles. You will help us communicate clearly, maintain a consistent brand, and reach the right audiences.

Your responsibilities

You will help us:

  • Plan and maintain a content calendar across our channels.
  • Write, edit, publish, and update website content, social media posts, press releases, and other communications.
  • Keep company listings, directories, and relevant registers accurate and up to date.
  • Create visuals and reusable templates in Figma or similar design tools.
  • Refine our brand guidelines and apply them consistently across content and design.
  • Follow and develop our voice and tone guidelines, adapting communication to different audiences.
  • Use artificial intelligence and automation tools, such as Make.com, to improve content workflows, approvals, publishing, and distribution.
  • Repurpose content into formats suited to different channels and audiences.
  • Improve content discoverability across search engines and artificial intelligence search and answer platforms.
  • Track content performance and use the findings to improve topics, formats, and distribution.
  • Coordinate with internal experts to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and ready for publication.

What we are looking for

You are someone who:

  • Has experience creating and managing content across websites and social media.
  • Writes clear, engaging English and can turn complex subjects into accessible stories.
  • Has a strong visual eye and practical experience with Figma or similar tools.
  • Can share examples of content and creative work you have produced.
  • Has hands-on experience using artificial intelligence and automation tools to improve workflows while maintaining editorial quality.
  • Understands how content can support awareness, engagement, and action.
  • Keeps up with developments in search engine optimisation and content visibility across large language models, generative search, and answer engines.
  • Works independently, manages priorities, and takes content from initial idea through publication and review.
  • Checks facts carefully and handles sensitive topics with sound judgement.

Technical search optimisation skills are welcome, but are not required. We value strong editorial judgement, creative ability, and the ability to put useful tools into practice.

Additional experience we would value

  • Healthcare, clinical research, or patient-facing communications.
  • Press releases, media outreach, or corporate communications.
  • Content management systems and publishing tools.
  • Short-form video creation and editing.
  • Community management and audience engagement.
  • Content analytics and testing different messages or creative formats.

About the role

You will work closely with our leadership, marketing, and medical teams to build a consistent and credible presence for Patiro. We are looking for someone who can contribute ideas and take ownership of the daily work needed to keep our content relevant and our channels active.

Hours: 5-15 hours per week
